Ukrainian drone versus Russian helicopter. In the battle for the Black Sea, attack helicopters have become Russia’s greatest weapon against Ukrainian naval drones. Even the Russian channel Fighterbomber wrote that this is currently the most effective way to stop Ukrainian drones.

If the helicopter crew manages to find a drone that wants to attack a Russian ship, they can eliminate it. Ukrainian naval kamikaze drones have little to defend themselves. In March, the Russian newspaper Izvestia reported that a new program for future naval helicopter pilots was launched in Russia to teach them how to fight drones.

The Russians will probably have to rewrite the courses again. Ukrainians have shown that they can always come up with something new.

On Monday, a picture appeared showing a Ukrainian naval drone equipped with anti-aircraft missiles. In the rear part, two beams are attached, on which R-73 missiles are mounted. It is the first time anyone has armed such drones with anti-aircraft missiles.

The War Zone portal called it a very unusual and potentially significant development in the Black Sea.
