The plug-in hybrid engine for the sporty Lamborghini SUV has been talked about for a long time, but only now has the brand officially presented the electrified Urus model with the SE designation in its full glory. And customers have something to look forward to again.
The basis of the drive system is a 4.0-liter V8 engine, which offers a maximum output of 456 kW (620 hp) and 800 Nm of torque. However, it is supplemented by an electric motor stored in an eight-speed gearbox, offering 141 kW (192 hp) and 483 Nm of torque. The combined output reaches 588 kW (800 hp).
The Urus SE promises acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h. The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh, stored under the trunk floor, also promises a purely electric range of up to 60 km.

The most powerful production Lamborghini Urus also boasts the use of a new electro-hydraulic clutch that enables variable distribution of torque between the axles. In conjunction with the new electronic self-locking differential on the rear axle, it also promises “on demand” oversteer. All wheels are also driven in electric mode.
Minor changes have also taken place in terms of design. The Urus SE has a redesigned hood, grille and new LED lights. The rear, including the taillights, has also undergone a minor change, and the undercarriages feature new 23″ wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero tires. Overall, the design of the car came closer to the Revuelto super sports model.

In the cabin there is a new infotainment display with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, and the ventilation outlets have also undergone a slight change, which have a more pronounced effect. The automaker also played with the range of upholstery and materials on the dashboard, the switches should then have a more mechanical operation.
The Lamborghini Urus SE is not yet on sale, and the automaker did not indicate the start of taking orders or a price in the press release. As the strongest model in the range, it will probably reach the imaginary top of the price list.
