The Americans are preparing an opulent tank for civilians, they will wrap an oasis of luxury in the composite armor

It will characteristically call itself Arsenal, but it will have absolutely nothing to do with English football. With a military arsenal, yes, with ballistic protection, the B6 can withstand it in a luxury not seen in these realms.

The American car company Rezvani specializes in a demanding clientele, which offers two options for significantly reducing the burden on the bank account. Customers can choose sports cars or, conversely, SUVs. The basis of the offer is the Retro RR1, or modified Porsche 911 Turbo, where the power can increase to 750 hp. A few steps higher is the Beast, or redesigned Ariel Atom, which, unlike the British original, received a carbon body. The weight thus increased to 1,343 kg, but the 6.2-liter engine compensates for everything with an output of 1,000 horsepower.

However, there is apparently a greater interest in SUVs, of which three are available. The base Tank is derived from the Jeep Wrangler, while the three-axle six-wheel-drive Hercules pick-up is based on the brand’s Gladiator. The ultimate Vengeance is the redesigned Cadillac Escalade, designed by Milen Ivanov. He had previously designed cars for video games, with Rezvani demanding that his “revenge” have an equally aggressive look. At the same time, the automaker offers various forms of armor for the entire portfolio, i.e. also for sports cars.

But the reason why we went to the brand based in Santa Ana, California for a virtual visit is its upcoming novelty. It will again be an SUV, this time named Arsenal. The automaker has not yet specified what car it is based on. But since they talk about considerable comfort and from the first picture it seems that the style corresponds to the Rezvani Vengeance, the starting point was most likely the Escalade again. It is available in standard and extended versions, so Arsenal will most likely use a shorter platform compared to its older sibling.

At the same time, customers will also have a smaller number of power units to choose from, as they can choose a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder from General Motors, which produces 426 horsepower in the naturally aspirated version, while the turbocharged one has a combined output of 684 horsepower. However, the Vengeance can be equipped with the same unit, but tuned up to 821 horses. At the same time, it is also available with a three-liter turbodiesel with 281 horses. So far, the Tank with an engine from the Dodge Demon SRT, which produces 1,000 horsepower, goes the furthest from the entire company’s offer.

Even if the Arsenal will not be the most powerful car in the portfolio, in the armored version it has a good chance of becoming the fastest. For the first time, Rezvani used armor made of composite and not steel plates, as is the case with its siblings. The weight will therefore be significantly reduced, but the high ballistic protection of the B6 will remain. Those interested can start writing orders now, but they must pay a reservation fee of USD 150 (approx. CZK 3,500). However, at a price starting at 225,000 dollars (CZK 5.2 million), this is an absolute bargain.
