The carrier has a total of 65 new Airbus A350-900s on order.
The first destination served by Emirates’ new type of aircraft, the Airbus A350, will be Bahrain. The carrier expects the first machine to be included in the fleet in September. By March 31, 2025, a total of ten should be in operation.
In the coming months, the new Airbus A350s in Emirates colors will be deployed on routes to nine destinations, including Kuwait, Muscat, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Colombo, Lyon, Bologna and Edinburgh in addition to Bahrain.
Tickets for flights with Airbus A350 are already on sale. The complete aircraft deployment schedule is available in the airline’s press release. Other destinations to which the new type will fly will be announced by the carrier in the coming months.
Emirates has ordered a total of 65 Airbus A350-900s. The first 10 delivered will be configured in three travel classes with a total capacity of 312 passengers. The airline also flies Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. They also expect new Boeing 787s and 777Xs in the future.
