The new Duster has been revealed in detail as a Renault, at its price it will be a huge hit

What is Dacia Duster missing for even greater success? Quite possibly, it is enough to stick the logo of a brand on it, which almost no one turns their nose up at. The new Duster, like Renault, can be a real hit, especially if its association with a more prestigious brand will not mean a high price.
Dacia Duster is known here as… Dacia Duster, but it recently started to be sold here in its new generation. In countries where the Romanian brand has not previously established itself, but the parent company Renault has been selling the same car under its own brand for some time now, which only widens its scope and enhances its success. It is therefore not surprising that at the end of last year he announced that in the case of the new generation of the car, which is visually and technically at a higher level than the previous one, it will come with the Renault Duster II or III (depending on whether you consider the two to be a truly new generation, which it is not, or just a bigger facelift) without much hesitation.
Later, the French specified that the production of the car will start already in the spring and the car will go on sale in the second half of the year. The first actually happened, so below we can see not only digitally created, but also real photos of the Renault Duster 2024 in the smallest detail from the outside and inside. The car is pretty much the same as the stock Dacia, but look at how the Renault lettering on the front, as well as the logos scattered around the car, change the perception of it. We believe that these few details alone would convince many other people that there is no need to turn their noses up at the Duster.
As we have already indicated, this car has not yet been created as a “full-fledged Renault”, although its primary country of destination already indicates where the automaker is going with this car. This is because it is Turkey, where Dacia normally operates, and the Renault Duster has not yet been known there. Now it comes there with the fact that it will be sold side by side with the similarly named Dacia (so far in its previous generation, but in this respect both Dusters will catch up sooner or later), so it will no longer be some kind of virtue out of necessity, but a way to offer of Dacia models under the Renault banner as standard. That might not be a bad strategy at all these days.
The complete Turkish price list of the car is not yet known, but Renault suggests that prices will start somewhere at the level of 1.3 million Turkish lira, which is only about 10 percent higher compared to the current model offered in the Dacia dealer network. This would make the car a huge hit practically immediately, however the nominal conversion of this price will necessarily scare you – it is about 938 thousand CZK. But it should not be forgotten that people in Turkey pay some of the highest taxes on cars in the world, and for example the Škoda Karoq starts there at 2,009,900 TRY, which is about 1.45 million CZK. In addition, Duster will be “safely under a million” for a buck, like Renault in particular.
Let’s add that the French have already let it be known that they can launch the same strategy in other markets, so we can finally wait for the Renault Duster to be available in our country one day. If Renault switches to electric cars only, as it plans, this addition to the offer with available internal combustion models originating from Dacia would be a smart move.
