Another departure from the FIA. Director Natalie Robyn – F1sport.cz ends her position

Natalie Robyn worked as CEO of the FIA ​​from the end of 2022. But she will end her role at the end of May.

FIA chief executive Natalie Robyn will step down “by mutual agreement” to “pursue opportunities outside” the governing body.

Robyn took up the post in November 2022 as part of the FIA ​​president’s drive to reform the organisation’s structure. Before that, she served as CEO of Volvo since 2017 and also held management positions at Nissan and DaimlerChrysler.

“Serving in the role of CEO of the FIA ​​has been a huge honor and I am grateful to have been able to lead the program of restructuring and reform,” said Robyn.

“Now is the time to leave knowing that the organization is better prepared for the challenges ahead.”

“Natalie’s appointment as CEO in November 2022 marked a milestone that capitalized on her 18-year career spanning roles in both the automotive and financial sectors,” said Muhammad bin Sulaym.

“Her decision to pursue opportunities outside the FIA ​​has prompted her to leave the organization by mutual consent effective at the end of May.”

This is not the first high-profile departure from the FIA ​​in recent times. Sporting director Steve Nielsen, singles technical director Tim Goss and women’s commission chief Deborah Meyer all quit earlier.
