Carbon, aramid and fast stripes. BMW shows sports accessories for the 5 Series station wagon

With all the parts from the catalog, the “five” station wagon does not have to be ashamed to park even next to the creations of established German tuners.

For those who find the standard sports packages and accessories in the configurator of the latest 5 Series Touring not enough, BMW now traditionally presents an additional catalog of M Performance Parts. For the station wagon with a conventional combustion engine and its electric alternative i5, the M Sport package includes not only cosmetic and aerodynamic parts, but also a reinforced brake system and an expanded range of wheel designs.

A certain styling intermediate step before the arrival of the top-of-the-line BMW M5 Touring can be, for example, a front carbon splitter (also available in glossy black paint), carbon sill extensions also supplemented with gray graphics, or an extension of the already sufficiently aggressive rear diffuser, in this case from aramid (a highly durable synthetic fiber material).

BMW continues on the carbon wave with mirror covers in two different designs, while the large rear spoiler painted in glossy black and complemented by side aerodynamic strips in carbon has a significant effect on the station wagon. The lines of the body can be underlined by the offered graphics of stripes on the sides of the car, stretching from the front headlights to the rear lamps.

BMW offers the new lightweight M Performance wheel designs in 19-, 20- and 21-inch sizes, also in a specific specification with winter tires (including a version with anti-slip spikes). Behind the 21-inch wheels, it is also possible to install a stronger M Performance brake system with 20-inch discs and six-piston red-painted calipers at the front (with single-piston floats at the rear).

BMW does not stop with accessories inside, where it is possible to purchase carbon or aluminum threshold covers, carpets with the M tricolor or stainless steel pedal covers. Finally, the list of accessories also includes an M Performance key case in leather and Alcantara or a carbon fuel tank cover for the combustion and plug-hybrid station wagon of the 5 series.
