All lovers of the series were looking forward to the ZOO series if only because it attracted attractive filming in a real safari park and a number of beautiful shots of animals. The cast, headed by Eva Burešová, should have brought a certain attractiveness.
Until she went on maternity leave, Burešová was the main character of the series. Her character was given a lot of space, the plot with the imaginary twin and the relationship with judge Petr, which was similar to riding on a roller coaster, were also funny. Everyone was anxiously waiting for the two to finally get together.
For the first time, viewers became angry with Eva when she decided to stop filming due to pregnancy. On the one hand, Eva Burešová of course has the right to a private life, but apparently she already knew at the moment when she accepted the role what a long-term project it was. It was enough to refuse.
Because of Burešová, Robert Urban was fired from the series
In the end, more than a short break and the absence of the actress froze the audience the departure of her serial partner Robert Urbanowhose role of Peter was so closely connected with the role of Vika that the creators decided that he would have nothing to play without Vika.
Apparently, as a small compensation, Urban was promised the main role in the romantic series Eliška and Damián. We all know how that turned out.
The return to the series was not glorious
Viky eventually returned to the plot earlier than planned, but unfortunately Petr did not. However, the dynamics of Vika’s role disappeared somewhere. Burešová decided to devote more time to musicals, and her character sits in the kitchen at the table for most of the filming, where she creates incredible modern creations that are wanted even in the world’s fashion city. Besides, Viky just runs to the door, where Jeřábková, her sisters and fashion-obsessed customers take turns. In addition, Viky also manages to make benches and decorations from moss, and all this is made possible by Karel Rokl, who for some unknown reason makes her a henchman, and somehow it was forgotten that he originally wanted to write detective stories.
Boring and boring again
When the news that Burešová was running away from the series ZOO recently appeared in the press, desperate reactions from the audience appeared on purpose, and the actress assured everyone that she would be in the series until the end. In the end, everything became clear and the viewers were reassured that the harassed star Prima did finish filming, but since her opening doors and lounging in bed with her new serial partner are so indispensable for the viewers, the creators decided (for the sake of the viewers, of course) all the images with Film Burešová as a priority, so that she can devote herself to her music career and the audience will not lose such an important character from the series.
Apparently, as compensation, Robert Urban was also given another chance and his character will return to the story for a while.
But the truth is that if the role of Vika disappeared now, no one would abandon the series because of it. Her character is uncharged and very boring. Even her former love interest, the lawyer Markéta, is now more prominent in her small supporting role. The plot of the series is no longer worth Viky, and perhaps it is a good thing that Eva Burešová will not be in the next planned novel, at least not from the beginning.
