Picking a single character that we found most annoying on the Street this week wasn’t easy, as the competition is surprisingly strong in that regard. With a little effort, we narrowed it down to the two biggest favorites, the unpleasant Lumír Nykl and the pitifully sulking Iva Klímová.

Reason remains standing over Lumir’s behavior

In the competition for the most annoying character of the week in Street potential jury would have a really difficult decision. There are so many candidates for victory! And most of them have annoyed us not just this week, but for several months, if not months. Nevertheless, we can try to narrow down the selection and focus on two potential winners who, judging by the comments, really drink the blood of most viewers.

To begin with, we must mention Lumira Nykla, loved by everyone until recently, actually one of the three biggest favorites in the series. We liked Lumír for his good-natured nature, sense of humor, loving attitude towards his partner Kateřina, son Lexík and the whole family in general. However, the ways of screenwriters are unpredictable, although we can count on one thing about them – they will unceremoniously bring chaos to everything that we have considered certain and proven until now. Lumir is undoubtedly a positive character that we would never want to lose. That’s what we thought. Today everything is different.

The team of authors turned the audience’s favorite into a cruel despot, right into a tyrant who behaves like a jealous and a fool, meddles in his mother’s life, opens his mouth to her, blames her for something and constantly blathers on about her love for Vild Burd. By the way, the latter has never behaved anything other than nice and polite towards Lumir, yet Nykl constantly picks on him and makes scathing comments on each of Mom’s meetings with him, although it seemed that during a recent beer session, Lumir and Vilda had quite hit it off.

“Lumír is acting like a fool,” writes the viewer. “He should jump for joy from his mother’s happiness, contentment and life, be happy that he still has a mother. And he? He gets angry, curses, jealous, just a jerk.’

Forget Nykl, it’s even worse with Klímová

But the whiny Iva Klímová caused even greater animosity in the viewers this week – and many previous weeks. Every day is an opportunity for her to discover a new and seemingly unsolvable problem, over which one needs to sigh and whine before it turns out that everything could have been solved playfully with a little calmness and patience.

This week, Iva tried to get behind the wheel again, but as soon as she started, she almost hit a passer-by again. It probably wouldn’t have happened if he was looking where he was going, but honestly, Iva was driving forward and looking back for some reason, so it would be a little unfair to excuse her as an innocent victim again. Anyway, after that almost traumatic event she jumped out of the car, left it open in the middle of the road and ran to hide with Gábina in the salon, where Michal and Kaštan later found her in a pool of tears. Could that Iva ever get any more annoying and desperate? It’s no wonder that viewers call her whiny and obnoxious on a daily basis, even for the most tragic character in the series.
