Prince William has already returned to the duties of a member of the British royal family, but his wife remains in seclusion. Princess Kate is battling an unspecified type of cancer. According to a person close to the prince and princess, the couple is going through a difficult time.
“I’m heartbroken at the moment. I think they’re going through hell. I hope they’ll be back soon,” Amaia Arriet, a clothing designer for the future royal couple’s children, told The Telegraph. Prince William and his wife Kate have sons George and Louis and daughter Charlotte.
In March, Princess Kate told the public that her doctors had discovered cancer. In the published video, she said that the planned abdominal surgery in January was successful. According to her, it was initially assumed that it was not an oncological problem. However, the latest tests confirmed it.
“It was, of course, a huge shock and William and I have been doing everything we can to process it and make arrangements for our family,” the mother-of-three said. Doctors advised her to undergo chemotherapy. “It took me a while to recover from this difficult operation and start treatment,” she explained.
Kensington Palace has not disclosed what type of cancer the princess is dealing with. At the same time, the monarchy emphasized that she too has the right to privacy in matters of her health.
