The movie Lucia, the terror of the street has been on TV screens for over forty years. Due to its success, it also received a sequel called …and again that Lucie!, which was no less successful. The main role was played by the actress Žaneta Fuchsová, who was 11 years old in the first part. However, she did not stay with acting and devotes herself to assisting the director. How has she changed over the course of 41 years?
Žaneta Fuchsová became famous as a child actress who practically grew up in front of the camera. Her first role was Terezka in the fairy tale The Cat Prince, where she was only five years old. This launched her acting career. She became known mainly thanks to the films Lucie, street terror and the second part called …and that Lucie again!
Then she played alongside Milan Šimáček in the films Octopus from II. patras, which they give especially during the Christmas holidays and are still very popular among children. Her last film was the fairy tale Pan Tau, and then Žaneta Fuchsová hung up acting.
She failed the audition
Paradoxically, the end of her career was caused by her application to the State Conservatory, to which she was ultimately rejected. They justified it with a lack of talent. At the time, it was a shock for the actress and she took it as a failure in her life, as reported by the website Touch. And so Fuchs went in a different direction. She went to study high school of economics. After completing her studies, she worked as a secretary at Zmožek’s Carmen music publishing house. She worked in various accounting positions and tried her hand at a casting agency. She eventually became an assistant director.
According to the ČSFD portal, she has not appeared on TV since 2016. Today, Žaneta Fuchsová is 52 years old, she is divorced and has two beautiful children, daughter Michaela and son Radek.
