Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have arrived on a private visit to Nigeria. Their stay will last three days, they started it with a visit to a military rehabilitation center for war veterans. The British BBC server informs about it.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Nigeria at the invitation of Nigerian Army General and Defense Minister Christopher Musa. They arrived in the capital Abuja on Friday at noon, then they will visit the city of Kaduna in the northwest of Nigeria, where they will meet the wounded soldiers and their families. He will then visit the banking and business capital of Lagos.
The Nigerian Army is promising to motivate war veterans in their recovery since the visit of British-American couple and founder of the Invictus Games for disabled war veterans, Prince Harry. Nigeria is bidding to host the 2029 Invictus Games.

Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle will host a seminar on “Women in Leadership” in Nigeria.
The British Embassy in Abuja said it was not involved in the visit as the couple were heading to the African country privately.
This is the high-profile couple’s first trip to Africa since 2019, when the Duke and Duchess visited South Africa, Malawi, Angola and Botswana on their last official trip. It is also their first trip to Nigeria as a married couple. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan officially stepped down from their roles in the British royal family and moved to the United States, where Meghan is from, in 2020.
