The still undefeated Frank Turner will return to Prague with a new album and his The Sleeping Souls

Frank Turner’s hardcore-hardened heart remains in the right place and still beats strong. When he released his previous record, he toured all fifty US states with the band The Sleeping Souls in fifty days, and he recently celebrated his forty-second birthday with the entertainingly confrontational composition “No Thank You for the Music”. The master of punk-rock anthems, who is not afraid of singing and immediately catchy melodies, will now return to Prague on the occasion of the release of a new album. The concert will take place at the Roxy club on October 31, 2024, tickets for 590 crowns will be available after registration to Fource Friends on March 28, and will go on general sale a day later. As is customary with Frank, we can also look forward to several special guests, which is why the concert will start already after 18:00. His influences include Elvis Costello, singer and activist Billy Bragg, and musician and Dischord label founder Ian MacKaye – he himself is a unique creator who, after his beginnings in the band Million Dead, emerged as one of the most distinctive voices emerging from the hardcore scene. In May, he will celebrate twenty years of his solo career with his tenth album aptly named “Undefeated”. Already the first singles testify to the fact that, with a typical combination of rock flight and hardcore earthiness, he embarks on songs about things that really matter to him.

“It’s a record about how to resist and how to survive, but it’s all conceived with a sense of humor and the ability to throw yourself down.” Turner says. The successor to the globally successful collection “FTHC” promises fourteen intense tracks, which Turner himself produced for the first time and released after years spent with major labels. “Some people will just hate you no matter what you do. So don’t try to change their mind, it’s a waste of time. Just be the best version of yourself.”
