Vietnamese schoolchildren introduced their culture to classmates and teachers during a traditional Vietnamese day. It was held on Wednesday, March 27, at the 21st elementary school in Pilsen. The organizer was the Slovíčko association together with the school and the leadership of the Vietnamese community of the Pilsen Region. The project was supported and the event was attended by the Deputy Mayor for Education, Lucie Kantorová.

The Vietnamese pupils introduced local culture, customs and traditions, architecture, history and the music scene. There was also a tasting of Vietnamese specialties. “The presentation was prepared by students from the civic association Slovíčko, which has been dedicated to Vietnamese students at this school for 20 years. I thank the association for the care and also the director Prokop for the excellent leadership of the school,” said the deputy Lucie Kantorová.
