In March, the search for young talent began, when the organization ProStrědoškoláky launched a new year of its prestigious High School Student of the Year challenge. It is the largest competition in extracurricular activities in the Czech Republic, and the question remains where its winner is hiding.

In addition, the High School Student of the Year Award announced its 10th jubilee year this year, and the organization promises to celebrate the anniversary spectacularly. Entries for the competition are now open and are waiting for all ambitious high school students who want to show their talent and passion for extracurricular activities.
Each participant has the opportunity not only to receive recognition for their achievements and efforts, but also the opportunity to meet other talented young people and develop their skills.
* High School Student of the Year 2024 is a unique opportunity for students to show their talents outside the classroom, win valuable prizes and gain a network of contacts among other young talents.
The aim of the competition is to reward and support secondary school students for their commitment to a wide range of development activities, such as scientific internships, volunteering, success in knowledge competitions, sports performances, artistic projects or entrepreneurship.
The uniqueness of the competition lies not only in the appreciation of specific achievements, but also in the evaluation of the complexity and variety of activities and the participants’ own initiative. The best 25 competitors are invited to the Weekend Meeting in the Mountains, which offers unforgettable experiences and allows students to get to know each other better.

All registered participants are offered participation in the Education Academy, which will be held on 20-21 June 2024, together with the Gala Dinner, at which we will find out who will be the winner of the 2024 High School Student Award.
