It’s our part of the season all the time. Whether someone puts emphasis on scoring or not scoring goals is up to each individual. I always work the same way, mainly to win and to be first.
What is the state of the team?
I feel a good atmosphere on and off the pitch. I feel more self-confidence from the boys, which can also be seen in the actions and individual skills during the matches. I feel positive about it.
Twice you set up the ball for a penalty, why?
It wasn’t about setting up a balloon. I asked the referee if he was going to blow the whistle, so I went for it. I don’t like to stand there, so I walked it again.

How difficult was the match in Olomouc?The teams are ready for us. We are built on the fact that we try to play hard. Olomouc’s forces then left, it opened up more for us and we took advantage of it. It is not easy from the start when the team plays from the block. We looked for opportunities to get into them, we helped ourselves with set pieces and then we also created chances. Good performance for me.
How about the atmosphere?
It was unbelievable. Already during the warm-up I found myself getting goosebumps. Many thanks to the fans for this experience. It is unbelievable what they have prepared for us and what we can experience thanks to them. I believe it’s the other way around, that they’re experiencing the moments they’ve been waiting for. I believe that we will experience a lot more together and will make it through the season.

How badly did you want a goal for Honzo Kucht right here in Olomouc?I told him before the game that if he’s a dude, he’ll score three goals. He said yes. Chances were. I’m happy for at least that one goal.

It is certainly very important for the upcoming matches. Mainly the home environment. We perceive it. But even more important is our current state of mind and how we feel. I believe we will take advantage of it.
