Today around eight o’clock in the morning, there was a traffic accident in Plánická street in Klatovy, during which two passenger cars collided head-on.

Injuries to persons, including a child, were reported from the scene, so all emergency services went to the accident.

Rescuers took care of a man and an eight-year-old girl. “The man and the child were both transported with minor injuries to the surgical department of the hospital in Klatovy for further examination,” the spokesperson for the rescuers told us.

Firefighters subsequently secured the scene of the incident, carried out fire prevention measures and, after investigating the accident, assisted in loading the vehicles for towing and then cleaned up the road.

According to the witnesses, the behavior of the driver, who apparently caused the accident, was strange. “That chick swerved at the intersection, ran someone else’s car off the road, and then made a scene and screamed to the whole street that she wasn’t driving.” a woman passing by described the course of the event to us.

The police officer’s subsequent examination very quickly showed why the woman did not report her “performance”, because she had nothing to do behind the wheel. “A female driver born in 1989 driving a Renault passenger vehicle drove into the opposite direction while turning at an intersection, where she collided head-on with a Peugeot factory vehicle of a driver born in 1987. The driver and his passenger, a girl born in 2016, were injured.
Both the driver and the female driver had a negative breathalyzer test, but the traffic police found out during the investigation of the traffic accident that the woman was driving the vehicle, although she does not hold a driver’s license.” the police spokeswoman told us about the accident, adding that the police are still investigating the case.
