The center of Olomouc came to life on Thursday with the Flora spring flower exhibition. This time flower lovers are invited to the attractive Galaxy of Flowers. In Pavilion A, visitors will enjoy the breathtaking main exhibition, which is full of colors, spring and exotic flowers and scents. People can enjoy the fragile beauty and art of leading Czech florists until Sunday evening.

The main exhibition in pavilion A is called Galaxy of Flowers, its author is the renowned florist Jan Milt. It offers visitors a unique world full of colorful colors and the scent of thousands of flowers. The basic element is the ellipse, in line with the space tuning of the entire exposition.
“Space and flowers. Games with mirrors, light and darkness. Ellipses. And also views through the pavilion or the contrast between technology and nature. These are the cornerstones of this year’s main exhibition,” explained author Jan Milt.

In Pavilion A, people can repeatedly walk through the main exhibition and discover something new every time. Immediately at the entrance, there are, for example, orchids and carnivores with impressive lighting, and just a few steps further, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of thousands of spring and exotic plants, fresh floristic arrangements and colorful ellipses full of flowers.
“Part of the exhibition is built in such a way that the visitor can discover it, observe it, walk through it and have fun. There are plenty of places to sit. In addition, part of the exhibition is a cafe where, in addition to the regular menu, they will also prepare special thematic drinks,” added Jan Milt.

Visitors can enjoy the largest domestic flower festival and celebration of spring, the Flora Olomouc 2024 spring exhibition, until Sunday evening. According to director Eva Fuglíčková, the exhibition center fulfills one of its goals, which is to establish cooperation with young and at the same time high-quality creators and florists. “This year’s central exposition corresponds to this. It’s really something to look forward to,” invited Eva Fuglíčková.

Thousands of flower lovers from various corners of the Czech Republic and Slovakia did not miss the galaxy of flowers on the first day.
Among them was, for example, Mrs. Viera from Slovakia. “The exhibition is really beautiful. There are a huge number of those plants and colors here. For some exotic flowers, my daughter and I immediately looked for the exact names on the Internet. Spring Flora is a great experience for us, it’s really worth it,” said a satisfied visitor.
The modern and fresh Galaxy of Flowers also thrilled flower lovers who came to Olomouc from Hlučín u Opava.
“It’s beautiful, we like it very much. We have been going to exhibitions here for decades. We are loyal to Flora and we will not miss her if it is possible. We always look forward a long time. Of course we will buy new flowers for the garden again. We never leave here empty-handed,” confided Libuše Balarinová and Marie Dostálová.
