LITOMÉŘICE – Police officers joined the campaign…
The campaign “National Injury-Free Days” 2024 in Litoměřice started on April 24 with an event “Children’s Day Without Accidents”, which, in a fun and educational way, introduces second-graders to the activities of the components of the integrated rescue system.
The event took place in the premises of the Litoměřice traffic playground, where the pupils gradually went through the individual stations and had the opportunity to see behind the scenes the demanding work of the IZS units.
At the police station, the students got to know the traffic policemen and policemen of the patrol service.
The traffic police officers presented the pupils with a service vehicle including their equipment used for the performance of their duties. The children also remembered a lot of important information from the BESIP area at this station.
At the station of the patrol service, the children could try on the “armor” of the heavy-duty soldiers, including a protective helmet, and play at the police for a while behind the wheel of a police patrol car.
The great interest and enthusiasm of the children was a reward for all the organizers of today’s event.
The campaign will continue on May 15, 2024 with a preventive event, at which members of the IZS will introduce themselves to the children of all Litoměřice mothers.
