The officers of the city police in Krupka have had an unusual intervention. In the night hours in the streets of the town of Krupky, they chased a large loader, the driver of which was evidently wandering, driving several times in the opposite direction. And he vandalized a road sign. As it turned out, the driver behind the wheel of the loader was drunk. He didn’t have a driver’s license. The reason for his frantic driving was simple.

The Municipal Police in Krupka na Teplicka published a video of the unconventional intervention of its officers.

“In Mariánské náměstí Street, our cameraman saw a large wheel loader that drove in the opposite direction and continued towards Koněvova Street. Therefore, we immediately sent a patrol to the spot and in the meantime the police of the Czech Republic called us that they had reported a large loader driving through Krupka,” said Jiří Petrák, director of the Krupka municipal police.

Several police patrols tried to find and stop the loader in the streets of Krupky. It was only possible after blocking all escape routes.

“The registration plate was missing from the loader. The man’s driver’s license was blocked. The policemen measured 2.08 per mille of alcohol in his breath with an indicative breath test. The police of the Czech Republic therefore took over the case on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance,” said the spokesman of the town of Krupky Pavel Pribyl

The reason for his frantic drive, which was not only after Krupka, was simple. He allegedly went somewhere to buy cigarettes. According to the police, he drove approximately 50 kilometers around Teplick and Ústeck.
