The facade of Central will be transformed. It will be decorated with works by David Strauzz

Most – This spring marks one of the last stages of the several-year revitalization of the Central Most shopping center.

The facade of the shopping center on the Builders’ side will be restored. The first step was the complete cleaning of the entire facade by a specialized company, followed by the removal of the advertising windows in the lower part. The cleaning work took place during the month of March, and after its completion, the windows were removed and the facade behind them was brought to the same level as the surrounding facade.

All of this will be enhanced by works of art painted on the prepared surfaces by international street art artist of Canadian-Czech origin, David Strauzz. “David will create one of the largest murals in the Czech Republic on our shopping center, the theme of which will be “freedom”. Freedom has many faces, where each individual finds their own based on their unique life perspective and experience,” says Martin Malý, director of marketing and communication of EPG Group, which owns Central Most.

The mural will not only be a visually stunning addition to the cityscape, but will also symbolize the transformative power of urban renewal. In the same way that the walls of a shopping center are transformed into canvases, the city as such undergoes a gradual transformation that breathes new life into neglected parts. “Outdoor art, as a form of expression, resonates with the younger generation and provides a great space for creativity and self-expression. The mural becomes a canvas that speaks directly to the aspirations and dreams of the youth and serves as a source of inspiration and cultural pride,” says David Strauzz.

The artist should start creating at the turn of April and May, and the entire work should take him approximately three weeks.
