I am not talking about creating the hundred and first variation on the new slogan of the ANO movement “Czech Republic, everything for you”. But the slogan itself carries this charge – a reminder that Andrej Babiš is capable of doing “absolutely everything” on the way to his goals.

That some Czech Republic is completely stolen from Andrej Babiš, he has shown it vividly and practically many times already. In recent weeks, for example, by refusing to debate the pension reform that our country desperately needs.

But I keep coming back to Andrej Babiš’s biggest trouble – the willingness of the then government of Andrej Babiš to help the Castle with intrigues against the Czech Republic and to overtake the interests of the Russian Federation, against all the recommendations and warnings of the Czech security services. He sold the security of the Czech Republic for the prospect of the premiership expected from the hands of Miloš Zeman. And since the Castle was run by people like Nejedlý at that time, the government of Andrej Babiš went directly to the hands of Nejedlý, who was closely tied to the highest levels of Moscow politics.

This is not idle talk about some kind of platonic affection. The government of Andrej Babiš showed obvious and shameful support of Russia during the preparation of the tender for the completion of the nuclear reactor. Sharply, and against all the recommendations of the security services.

After consultations at the Castle, Karel Havlíček tried at all costs to keep Rosatom in the tender. With a very funny and endlessly repeated excuse – that they are trying to lower the final price of the tender with the care of a proper landlord, and that nothing prevents Rosat from being eliminated in the final stages of the competition.

When the attempt to push Rosatom into the position of subcontractor failed, Karel Havlíček opened the door to Rosatom in the form of a non-standard procedure with a security questionnaire. When the professional and political public rebelled against such a move by overtaking Russia, even then the government of Andrej Babiš was able to cope – there was the immediate dismissal of the government representative for the core, and a few weeks later the dismissal of Foreign Minister Petříček. Only the Vrbětice affair stopped all this madness, because at that time even Russia itself knew that all chances for the completion of the Czech core were definitively on the ice.

It is not about Andrej Babiš’s leaning towards Russia. Andrej Babiš is willing to sell the Czech Republic to absolutely anyone for access to power. In this way, they recommend reading the new slogan of the ANO movement “Czech Republic, everything for you”.
