In Zbiroz you can visit the Charles IV circuit every Friday in May, in Rokycany there is a spectacular Liberation Celebration in the Museum on the Demarcation Line, and Brdy is also worth a trip, where you can visit creative afternoons in the VLS Obecnice.
The traditional Liberation Celebrations are being prepared jointly by the town of Rokycany and the Museum on the demarcation line of Rokycany on the afternoon of Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Luxembourgish Zbiroh
When: every Friday in May from 7 p.m
Where: Zbiroh Castle

Why come: You can choose a circuit of 10 or 15 kilometers with a return to the swimming pool area by 5 p.m.
Liberation celebrations in Rokycany
When: Saturday, May 4 from 2 p.m
Where: Museum on the Demarcation Line. The museum will be open to the public from 1 p.m.

Why come: The program will begin with a lecture by KH Frank’s Last Beer about his arrest in Rokycany with the projection of unique period footage on a large screen. This will be followed by competitions for children, guided tours of period camps and physical fitness training for military recruits. The second block of celebrations will begin the main devotional act at 4 p.m. This will be followed by a parade of armies and equipment II. World War II, children will participate in the construction of a barricade and then in the liberation parade, a combat demonstration of the May Uprising is prepared with the support of a historic Mustang aircraft. Professional firefighters from the Rokycany Territorial Department of the Pilsen Regional Fire Service will also present their equipment. The end of the Rokycan celebrations will be a concert by the Tremolo orchestra from 7:30 p.m., and the last point will be fireworks.
Opening of the Forest well above the Sýkorý mýn

Where: Forest well. You can get to it by following the blue tourist sign from Přísednice or by following the blue sign across the footbridge behind the Sýkorová mill.
