Already on Tuesday, you can go back to the period of the First Republic and experience the People’s Festival in the former Town Hall, now a newly reconstructed school canteen, and in the Bastion Park through the UNESCO Primary School and the Slovak Museum.

An early evening with a touch of nobility and history will take place on the eve of the national holiday on Tuesday, May 7 from 5 p.m. In the program, historian Pavel Portl and director of the UNESCO Elementary School Jan Vorba will give a lecture on the history, present and future of the Town Talk with photo projection. You can look forward to a fashion show of period clothes of the Luhačovice decoration association Calma, a concert by the SwingShower group, an exhibition by the Slovácko Military History Club, Czechoslovak legionnaires and the Slovak Brigade, including the scenery of the period camp.

Pupils, parents and staff of the school will immerse themselves in the period of the first republic with a charleston, a period circus, a retro Sparta – Slavia match and many others. The entrance fee is voluntary, it will include a copy of the occasional newspaper.

Period clothing is very welcome
