The next year of the Horn Fest Prague festival will start with an alternative celebration and tribute to Bedřich Smetana. In an attractive program, he will perform alongside the founder of the festival, horn player Radek BaborákE mezzo-soprano Bella Adamovaa pianist Nikol BOforge.

The listeners can look forward to the rising star of the singing heaven, Bella Adamová, who participates in several projects with the Baborák ensemble. It will present the folk poetry of Leoš Janáček, for voice and piano, as well as Smetana’s Songs for Three Voices accompanied by a trio of French horns. The Czech Horn Chorus will perform Gideon Klein’s Songs Without Words and Měchur’s Allegro for Horn Quartet. Nikol Bóková’s Intráda for French Horns will also be premiered, and Radek Baborák and the author will perform an Impromptu for French Horns and Piano. Her song Her Country, which gave the title to the whole concert, will close the concert.
