The most cases in European countries were recorded in Spain (6,543), France (3,558) and Germany (3,480) by September 1. The first cases appeared in the Czech Republic before the end of May, the infected had previously stayed abroad, for example at a festival in Belgium. Even among the ten newly registered cases, there are four people with a history of travel, having stayed in Spain, Portugal, France and Germany. But most of the infected did not travel anywhere.
