“I didn’t come across any political entity that would open up important political topics for me, such as intergenerational cohesion or budgetary responsibility, so I founded my own,” explained the student of the Prague Security Law Academy, who was interested in politics as early as elementary school, to Novinka.

The current government has failed him. “And since my civic duty told me to do it myself, I listened to her,” stated the young man. He admits that it was a somewhat masochistic decision to throw himself into politics at the age of fifteen, but he simply could not do otherwise.

“My parents are not politically active, the trigger was my dissatisfaction,” he reflects on what made him take that path. He has no regrets yet. “Hats appear, but when a person has a goal and really wants to achieve it, nothing can deter him,” he says, adding that those around him welcome and support his decision.

Father Marek admits that he did not take his son’s decision too seriously at first. “We’ve been talking about politics since he was 14, when he was fifteen, during a family vacation, he came to us with the idea of starting a political party. I told him that was a great idea. Today I’m not so sure,” he shrugs. But the whole family supports the young man. “I helped with the expenses for the production of leaflets, we bought a stand, a folding table, collected signatures for petition sheets. Grandfather is very proud of him and sees a great future in him,” says Krutý the elder, who fully agrees with Daniel’s ideological values, which he invests in the movement.

They propose the abolition of educational fees

It has existed informally for over a year, during which time it has gained about a hundred members across the age spectrum. The political party is currently financed by the leaders’ families, membership fees, and small donations.

“We are not revolutionaries, we are not saying that we will change everything from the ground up. But there are areas where changes must occur. The government does little especially in the sphere of public finances. It is not possible that she will leave behind a debt other than budget armageddon after Andrej Babiš, Alena Schillerová,” he pointed out. He also has criticisms of the government’s communication with citizens. However, he appreciates foreign policy and efforts to consolidate.

He wants to focus mainly on public budgets. “In the future, it may become more difficult for us if the indebtedness grows at the current rate. We are not saying that we will save on officials or subsidies. For example, we are proposing the abolition of education fees, which is 19 billion crowns. I would give women five thousand crowns for their pension for what they have done for us, but we simply don’t have it right now,” offers one of the possibilities of Daniel, who is heading for the parliamentary elections in 2025.

“We are starting now, I want people to know who we are, what they can expect from us. But I don’t want to pressure anyone,” he said and invited to the program conference in May.

“I Didn’t Come to Argue”

He has no role model among politicians. “I’m trying to write my own book of my story,” smiles the young man, who divides his time between school and politics. He has no free time left. “You have to run as soon as you open your eyes. To catch up with experienced colleagues and be able to compete with them,” the young man knows.

He also sees the path to success in humility and respect for others. “I didn’t come to argue, I’ll try to explain to more experienced colleagues how I think it should be,” he presents his vision.

Ambitions should be high, goals realistic, he responded to the question of where he would like to take it in the future. “We’ll see where it takes us, the cards are dealt by the voters,” he concluded, before heading out for a run in nature to clear his head before all the tasks that awaited him that day.
