Second win for the Rangers

Washington started this duel very well and took an early lead. However, the Rangers were able to respond quickly and turned the game around by the end of the third period. Although the Capitals managed to equalize in the middle part, the home team eventually built a two-goal lead. In the last twenty minutes, Rangers controlled the game and eventually held on to win 4:3 with minor problems.

Florida decided in overtime

After a dominating first period in which they scored two goals, Florida hit hard at the start of the second. Tampa tied the game after quick goals by Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos, and for the rest of regular time, hockey was played on both sides, where the goalies especially ruled. In the end, the decision had to come in extra time, where Carter Verhaeghe won in the third minute.
