Adrian Newey no longer wants to work for Red Bull.
Adrian Newey, the legendary constructor of the Red Bull Racing team, has caused a wave of speculation in the motorsport world after announcing internally that he is considering ending his long association with the team. Newey, who is under contract with Red Bull until the end of 2025, is said to be looking at ways to end his contract, although he has a non-compete clause that prevents him from moving to another team until a year after the end of his contract.

The departure of Adrian Newey could have a major impact on the world of Formula 1, as he is considered one of the most successful constructors in the history of the sport. His work played a key role in Red Bull’s success between 2010 and 2013, when the team dominated the world championship.
One of the possible targets for Newey is Aston Martin, which has been strengthening recently as part of its involvement in Formula 1. Another possibility could be a transfer to Ferrari, which is trying to restore its dominance in the most prestigious motorsport series in the world. Newey would thus join forces with Lewis Hamilton, while at Audi he would work with Fernando Alonso.
News of Newey’s alleged departure comes amid a deteriorating relationship between him and Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. Although it was Horner who brought Newey to the team in 2005, it now appears that their relationship is going through a difficult period. So far, Red Bull has officially confirmed that it has a contract with Newey until the end of 2025, but the situation can still evolve.
