Although hockey forward Jaromír Jágr did not reveal anything about his future as a player immediately after the end of the tie for the extra league between Kladno and Vsetín, he indicated in an interview with CNN Prima News that he has certain plans. Even before the start of the playoff, he said that if the Knights manage it successfully, they will prepare as best as possible for their last season.
“We’ll see how the playoff turns out, but if it turns out well and we stay in the extra league, we have a plan to film my last season,” said the fifty-two-year-old playing owner of the Central Bohemian club Jágr on the Showtime program.
It is obvious that this condition is fulfilled. The Knights succeeded without faltering, beating Vsetín 4:0 for the matches.
Jágr contributed to this in three games with a goal and an assist. In addition to the composition of the squad, he can also start his preparation.
“I would like to try to prepare physically as best as possible. I always say that I will prepare, then I never do. But I would really like to prepare professionally for the last season,” said Jágr.
He is working on a film with Petr Větrovský. “Peter and I started filming four years ago, so it got a little expensive for him…” Jágr smiled.
“I thought I’d be done by now, but for now I’m still extending my career.”
