The MAX service will start in May. What will the subscription prices be?

The Max service is to replace the HBO Max streaming application in our country from May 21. It will offer several variants, and its most expensive tariff will cost CZK 299 per month.

As Lupa.cz writes, Max will offer a choice of different monthly and annual subscription options and the Sport add-on, which can be added to any basic subscription. Full live and on-demand coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be included in all base variants.

The Standard subscription will cost 219 CZK per month or 2190 CZK per year. Users can watch content on two devices simultaneously in Full HD resolution. This subscription will allow them to download up to 30 items for offline viewing.

All current HBO Max users will be converted to a Standard subscription. The previous price of HBO Max was 199 CZK per month or 1590 CZK per year.

Premium subscription costs CZK 299 per month or CZK 2990 per year. Users can watch on up to four devices simultaneously, in Full HD or 4K resolution and with Dolby Atmos sound (subject to availability). This option includes up to 100 downloads of content available for offline viewing.

The Sport add-on will cost CZK 70 per month. It unlocks coverage of the biggest sporting events including tennis grand slams, cycling Grand Tours, the 24 Hours of Le Mans car race, live streaming of Eurosport linear channels 1 and 2 and much more. Users can watch sports content on two devices at the same time (so it is limited to only two viewings at the same time regardless of the subscription version). Sport is sold as an add-on to a basic subscription, which is required for the add-on to function.
