On Saturday at around 7 p.m., the fire brigade intervened when a hot air balloon fell into inaccessible terrain in the forest in Berounsk. The five-man crew was unharmed, but the balloon itself became heavily entangled in branches. Rescuers helped people to safety. Central Bohemian firefighters reported on the X social network about the curious accident.

“The five-person balloon crew landed unharmed on the ground, but the balloon itself became entangled in tree branches. The units helped people from difficult-to-access terrain with the help of a rope system. There was no fire,” added the rescuers.
As reported by the Týdeník police website, the closest patrols of the Police of the Czech Republic, including the commander, went to the scene. Law enforcement officers on the scene found that the crew originally wanted to land the balloon a few hundred meters further, but the rope got caught in the crowns of the trees, in which the balloon then landed. The basket slid down through the trees to the ground.
