The first six pilots finished the sprint in the same order as they started it. Australian Daniel Ricciardo from Racing Bulls took fourth place, Carlos Sainz from Ferrari finished fifth and Oscar Piastri from McLaren finished sixth.

Then there was a duel between Hamilton and Kevin Magnussen from Haas. But none of them missed the last scored eighth puck. Magnussen received a penalty of several seconds after the fights, and Hamilton paid for the penalty due to insufficient speed in the pits. Jki Cunoda from Racing Bulls finished eight. All the penalties were deserved, no doubt about that. I would have done it all the same, said Magnussen in the end.

Verstappen didn’t recognize the champion even in qualifying. He won the pole position for the sixth time of the season and the seventh in a row, thanks to which he won the record. Frenchman Alain Prost won first place at the start in the first seven rounds of the season 31 years ago. Maximum with eight pole positions in ad dr Brazilian Ayrton Senna from the 1988 and 1989 seasons.
