The daughter of American veteran Christina M. Pieper-Bigelow first drank at the Freedom Celebration in 2005, and then went again with her father many times. He died in the abyss last year, so she continues the tradition. A traditional tour of historical military equipment, the Convoy of Liberty passed through the streets of Pilsen in a jeep with a portrait of her father, Richard Pieper. The convoy was lined by cordons of people throughout its approximately five-kilometer route, in the center of the city P-51D Mustang, Boeing B 75 Stearman and Stinson AT 19B / Reliant Mk III aircraft flew above it. The convoy passed through Klatovsk td and then Rooseweltová Street to the packed Republic Square. Christina M. Pieper-Bigelow, one of the 30 veteran American veterans, also took part in the fifth ceremony at the beginning of the celebration, where she spoke on behalf of veteran families. She recalled that her father spoke of Pilsen as his second home.

On Saturday, among other things, she ran the kilometer-long Bhu trail for the nation’s memorial and on Sunday she drove through the city in a convoy. According to their own words, they liked the program and the atmosphere of the celebration. For the fifth year to celebrate the 80th summer of the end of World War II, I will go to Pilsen again, with my whole family, my daughter of the wind is clear.
