A multipurpose Russian Ka-32 helicopter was destroyed at Moscow’s Ostafjevo airport on Friday night, Ukrainian military intelligence HUR announced. She also released a video that she says shows the operation. She did not directly claim responsibility for the operation, but hinted at Ukrainian involvement with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine!” at the end of the announcement. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Ostafjevo Airport belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defense, which uses it together with Gazpromavia, a company belonging to the Gazprom gas company. According to available information, the airport serves both civil and military flights.
Last week, Ukrainian intelligence announced the destruction of a Mi-8 helicopter at the Kryaz airfield in Samara, Russia, which lies over 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
