According to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, another four civilians were injured in Russian shelling in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. The Russian occupation authorities, on the other hand, claim, according to the agencies, that the Ukrainian shelling claimed three lives: two people were killed in the town of Polohy in the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region in the southeast of the country, and another in the western edge of Donetsk in the east of Ukraine.

Ukrainian forces managed to shoot down five out of nine Russian drones, stated general staff, which mentioned that in addition to Shahed drones of Iranian construction, the Russians also used unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type.

According to the RBK-Ukraine server, the Ukrainian army believes that they were most likely reconnaissance drones looking for potential targets.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian systems destroyed seventeen drones launched by the Ukrainian side over Russian territory. The attack was apparently aimed at oil and fuel storage facilities in the Kaluga region south of Moscow.

The ministry said nine drones were hit in the Bryansk region, three over Kursk and two over Belgorod.

In contrast, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexandr Bogomaz, on the social network at night wrote about shooting down thirteen drones. According to him, everything was done without injuries or damage to the ground.

Reuters added that Moscow rarely mentions the real consequences of the Ukrainian attacks.

Kiev, which usually does not comment on operations on the territory of the Russian Federation, has been trying to attack Russian oil refineries in recent weeks. Russian occupation forces repeatedly target Ukrainian power plants, parts of the energy infrastructure or transport hubs.

Ukraine has been defending itself against armed Russian aggression for more than two years, reports from the warring parties usually cannot be verified from other sources.
