Singapore’s Changi Airport boasts the tastiest food. This follows from the results of a survey conducted by the American magazine Food and Wine, and reported by the Independent server. Passengers can indulge in a whole host of dishes, empty stomachs will be satisfied by a wide range of ramen, pastries or the local specialty chili crab.

Tokyo beckons for sushi, Dubai for French pastries

Tokyo Narita International Airport came in second place on the list, the poll particularly highlights the excellent sushi. Its high quality will probably surprise few people in Japan. Dubai ranks third with a wide range of Middle Eastern delicacies, but travelers will also encounter fantastic éclairs, which are French sweets made from puffed dough similar to bananas.

The fourth position belongs to London’s Heathrow Airport, specifically for gourmet meals from the restaurants of the famous chef Gordon Ramsey. Istanbul’s fifth airport again invites you to Turkish street food. Amsterdam’s sixth airport is perfect for a beer or Dutch pancakes.
