Recently, Meta has been trying to improve its popular WhatsApp app as much as possible. Sometimes these are small improvements that can still make work easier for some users, other times Zuckerberg’s team prepares revolutionary news for us. One such innovation was recently, for example, the integration of artificial intelligence directly into this popular toy.

Dialing an unknown number

Now we will see more of the second variant. It has always been typical for WhatsApp that it did not allow you to write a message or call an unknown number without first saving it in your contacts. But that is supposed to change with the upcoming update.

The WABetaInfo server discovered in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.24.9.28 a new dial for dialing numbers as we know it from the classic Phone application. So, for example, if you need to make a one-off call somewhere and you don’t have any spares “spare minutes,” you will not have to save the newly called number beforehand. Better community management

Another, less revolutionary innovation this time should be a function “Hidden Group.” It will allow community administrators to control the visibility of group chats, for example, they will be able to hide some from the list of community groups. It was discovered again by the WABetaInfo server in beta version 2.24.9.27.

It’s also worth noting that community admins will only be able to find a group chat and remove it from that community, but they won’t be able to access the content of hidden group chats unless they’re also a member.

Meta promises this feature will make it easier to create and organize groups on WhatsApp, as well as increase privacy in such communities. At the same time, those members of the given community will not be unnecessarily overwhelmed by the content, which would not be relevant to the topic being discussed.
