Baking paper is such a handy thing that no household should be without it. It is primarily used on the bottom of baking trays or cake tins, where it creates an effective barrier between the container and the food being prepared.

It prevents the food from sticking or sticking to the baking dish and it is then removed much easier thanks to it. Never again will you have to eat a bun off the baking sheet with a spoon because you forgot to wipe it.

You will also no longer have to wash out bulky containers.

Squeeze and soak

You can buy it either whole or in pre-cut sheets. In both cases, however, it is rolled into a roll, so it tends to curl up again after unpacking.

But you can easily prevent this unwanted phenomenon by crumpling it. If you crumple it, straighten it again and wipe the sheet with water, the paper won’t even move after you put it in. It sticks nicely to the container and you can start filling it.

If the container is higher, the paper deviates from the edges and you are afraid that the dough will stick to them afterwards, feel free to fasten it with pegs. When the mold is full, remove the pegs.

French delicacy

But baking paper will help you not only when baking buns and cakes. As it is resistant to moisture, grease and does not tear, fill it with vegetables and pieces of chicken or fish. Add herbs, spices or cheese, just whatever you like and it doesn’t have to cook for long. Make packages that you seal properly and put on a baking sheet.

You get juicy food full of flavor, tender, tender and healthy. You won’t need any fat to prepare it. And no dishes either. This method was invented by the French and is called “en papillote”.

Pack food in it

The baking paper will serve as a replacement for the plastic wrap in which you brought the hard cheese from the store. If you leave it in there, you run the risk of it getting moldy soon. But the parchment will give the cheese a chance to breathe again and thus extend its life.

Great it will be used for separating slices of tender chicken breast, which you are going to freeze. After pulling out, they will separate from each other much better, without the risk of tearing. You can also use baking paper separate burgers or vegetables. Once frozen, they will no longer stick together.

It will help with rolling the dough and decorating

You can roll dough on it to prevent clutter on your kitchen counter. It will also be easier to transfer the dough to the baking sheet.

Last but not least, it perfectly replaces the decoration for creams. Just cut a square out of it, roll it into a cone shape and you can start decorating. You fill the wider upper part with cream or chocolate, adjust the narrower lower part to the desired size, and the work will go better with your hands than, for example, with a plastic bag.
