The Mitsubishi ASX has a new nose after the facelift, it remains a Renault in disguise

--

The nose has undergone changes, which is more angular and has a larger radiator grille. A more dramatic expression is provided by narrower headlights shared with the capture, but also by LED daytime running lights in a specific shape on the edges of the bumper.

Even after modernization, Mitsubishi did not succeed in disguising the rear camera, which protrudes on the trunk lid even with a considerable cover in the place where the captur has it hidden in the logo.

Inside, nothing fundamental changes, but the built-in on-board system now offers built-in applications from Google.

Three motors continue to be used for propulsion. The turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of one liter cooperates with a six-speed manual transmission and has a power of 67 kW and a torque of 160 Nm.

An alternative is a mild-hybrid thirteen-cylinder. The four-cylinder with electric assistance in combination with a manual transmission has a maximum of 103 kW /260 Nm, or 116 kW /270 Nm in the case of a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The highlight is the full-hybrid sixteen-cylinder. It is a combination of a petrol unit with two electric motors and a multi-mode automatic transmission. The system has a power of 105 kW.

The domestic importer plans to launch the modernized version on the Czech market this autumn.
