WITHtriple learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) in which computers learn from data sets presented to them and can learn a lot of useful things from it. When the developers show it what a certain health problem sounds like, the algorithm is then more likely to recognize it.
This is exactly what scientists from Google have now trained on recordings of coughing and breathing. From millions of recordings of human sounds from the YouTube database, they developed a tool that advises doctors whether a given patient has, for example, covid19 or tuberculosis. He drew attention to the website of the American magazine Nature, saying that this is another innovation in the healthcare industry that uses AI.
