Chris Hemsworth criticizes the four Thor. And promises to return!

Chris Hemsworth is a very hardworking actor and does a lot to be more than just a Marvel star. He’s shooting action shots of Redemption, we’ll see him in a few weeks Furiosa, tried to revive the Men in Black brand and now and then try something a little more ambitious. But it’s still a futile effort, and Thor will probably be for a while, because unlike the party from the original Avengers, he’s still kicking for the MCU stable. Now, however, he decided to do a little self-reflection.

Everyone has the right to their opinion and we will not deny it to anyone, but we can probably agree that across society there is an opinion that Thor: Love Like Thunder is a hoot that showed where it can go when a director is given too much money and too little oversight. It did not work out. Taika Waititi showed himself here as a director who does not know peace and his childish jokes started to eat in the thirtieth minute. The monsters were designed by the children of the main actors, and any attempts at drama (after all, that movie dealt with dying from cancer!) Waititi reliably spat out another childish joke. Oh, and last but not least, it also looked pretty disgusting.

The reception was logically not entirely enthusiastic, and the fact that the actors and crew were having fun during the filming was not appreciated by the audience. However, Hemsworth has now decided to sprinkle a little ash on his head. In an interview with Vanity Fair, he admitted that the four was a fluke on his part and that he got carried away by the possibility of improvising and fooling around. And that it didn’t work out because he became a parody of himself. It’s not an excuse – logically no one wants him either – but it’s nice that he’s not afraid to look failure in the face. And subtly promising a fifth Thor, or at least a return in Avengers, because he said he knew he owed the fans something better after the failed four. It’s nice to learn from your mistakes. And we’d be even happier if someone who looks like Taika Waititi walks around the set with a stick and whacks anyone who looks like Taika Waititi over the head with it.

Take out at the pub: Sam Raimi also tried to film Thor in the early nineties. After Darkman, he teamed up with Stan Lee and tried to pitch the project to Fox. They said they didn’t understand him.
