The performance of the Israeli singer Eden Golan, whose participation in the competition is causing controversy and protests due to the war waged by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip in response to the terrorist attack of the Hamas movement last October, will be closely watched in the second semi-final evening.

The Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö is being monitored by police officers from all over Sweden, and security forces from Denmark and Norway have also arrived.
