Pardubice – The racetrack is once again part of the national project Clean up the Czech Republic. Anyone can participate in the cleaning around the Pardubice Hippodrome. On Saturday, April 6, volunteers will gather to clean the ditches along the adjacent roads and the forest that separates the access road to the racecourse from the railway line, just a few days before the start of this year’s racing season.

The Clean Up Czechia event is already the 11th year of a nationwide cleaning project in which hundreds of volunteers participate every year. The goal is to clean up illegally created black dumps and mess not only in nature. After last year’s positive response, the organizers of the Pardubice races decided to go into the project again. The land around the racetrack belongs to several owners, which is why the organizing Dostihový spolek enjoys the support of the town hall of the urban district in Svítkov. She provided a container for storing the collected waste free of charge.

The meeting of volunteers is on Saturday, April 6 at 9:00 a.m. at the main gate of the Pardubice racecourse. The participants of the event will be divided into sectors, garbage bags will also be available. After the cleaning, a guided tour of the racetrack is prepared for those interested.
