A severed penis and 16 stab wounds! A man (39) was supposed to brutally murder his ex-wife’s new partner (31).

The court began hearing the case of an extremely brutal murder on Tuesday. Thirty-nine-year-old Anatolii M. sat on the dock at the Municipal Court in Prague, who, according to the indictment, had in cold blood to stab his ex-partner’s new boyfriend.

Prosecutor Miroslav Mojžíš, while reading the indictment, mainly mentioned jealousy as the cause: “The accused’s main motivational emotions were jealousy, rage and the desire to take essential revenge, which resulted in aggressive behavior towards the victim, whom he attacked with a knife in a particularly raw and harrowing manner without prior warning, insidiously, repeatedly in short succession.’

A total of 16 stab wounds were found on the body of the murdered man, which, according to the indictment, were of medium and high intensity. While 3 of these wounds were on the head and another 11 in the torso area. The killer hit vital organs.

Even after sixteen stabs, however, the attacker did not stop, at the end of the attack he was supposed to have committed an extremely perverse act: “At the end of the attack, the accused apparently cut off the victim’s external genitalia, i.e. the scrotum and testicles, while the cause of the victim’s death was bleeding from stab wounds to the chest with stab wounds to the heart and lungs. These injuries were fatal to the general nature and led to his death within a few minutes,” the prosecutor read from the indictment.

Anatolii M. testified in court on Tuesday that he admits that the act happened. However, he denied that he would come to his ex-wife’s place of residence with the intention of harming anyone. According to his version, the injured man challenged him to a fight, during which he received several hard blows.

“I received a blow, something like a knockout. I can’t describe it because it was unexpected. Furthermore, I do not remember the fight and its details. I had a knife on my belt, it is possible that I used the knife in a state of panic. The person had the opportunity to run away if I threatened him in any way or showed him a gun. I did not hinder his movement in any way,” the accused foreigner defended himself in court.

When asked by Judge Langhamer, how he explains that the man’s penis was cut off, Anatolii M. did not manage to answer: “I can only say that it was a state of inadequacy. I can’t describe it, I can’t normally comment on it. I don’t know how it happened, I don’t remember this part of the fight,” said Anatolii M.

In addition, the accused man claims that he had never seen the injured man before and had no idea that he was his ex-wife’s new boyfriend. He reportedly came to the house where he used to live to check on his daughter.

Threats from bandits?

According to Anatolii, he carried the knife behind his waist because he feared for his safety, because of the alleged threats. His ex-wife’s acquaintances were said to have incited, as he himself called them, bandits against him.

“They threatened me, their subordinate bandits, one of them was called Kolya. This person is two meters tall, a head like a bucket and over 100 kg and some prison tattoos,“said the defendant Anatolii M. in his statement. The main trial is also scheduled for the next few days. The testimony of the accused man’s ex-wife should also be heard in court on Wednesday.
