Sigma Olomouc – Sparta Prague

It is already 100% clear that Sparta will finish first in the table after the regular season. However, this certainly does not mean that she has nothing to play for. At the moment, he has a four-point lead, and that can be thinned out very quickly. It is enough to remember how Olomouc tormented Slavia in the last match, moreover on their field. The Prague club must definitely fight for victory.

Even Sigma is not without a chance and could push into the elite six. However, even a win may not be enough for her. She would have to rely on the loss of Slovácko and at least a draw in Liberec. However, this situation is quite unlikely.

Sparta will probably go for the win in this match and I don’t really believe that they would end up in a situation like Slavia. Moreover, Birmančevič is in great form, Kuchta finally scored two goals and Haraslín scored one. The Spartan trident will probably tip this clash to the visitors’ side. A draw is rather less likely.

Hradec Králové – Slavia Prague

There is a similar situation in the Slavia match in Hradec. Stitched will advance to the superstructure from second place, but they too must score points at all costs. Another loss would send their chances for the title to mere theoretical levels.

The ninth Hradec can also advance (somewhat surprisingly) to the top six. But only if they win over Slavia, Slovakia and Liberec will lose and Olomouc won’t beat Sparta. His chances are even smaller than Sigma’s.

I don’t think that Slavia will lose points in the next match. The importance of this match is too great. I can imagine that the biggest loser of the previous match, David Zima, will be sitting on the bench. The Prague team will defend well, but at the same time they will play very attacking football and push the opponent to the maximum. But watch out! Last year too, Slavia played its last match with Hradec and only drew at home. In addition, the slaves are decently fired up.

Baník Ostrava – Liberec

A very interesting match could take place between Baník Ostrava and Slovan Liberec. At the moment, the fourth team in the table from Ostrava has a secure superstructure. Under certain circumstances, Mladá Boleslav can still overtake them, but in the last round, Baník’s players, despite the unfavorable course, ended up quite fired up.

Liberec is currently just behind the superstructure sixth place. Although they were somewhat predicted to rise quickly after the arrival of new owner Ondřej Kania, the last two games were not entirely convincing. In addition, the postseason end of coach Kozlo is leaking to the media, which can make the team a little nervous.

Although Baník didn’t do very well at home in the spring, I feel a lot of strength from them in the last matches. Ewerton in particular is in great form, which he showed at Sparta. However, the defense looked not so good, led by Filip Blažek, who made several fatal mistakes. For me, Karel Pojezný should finally get a chance instead and Ostrava should secure the fourth place.

Jablonec – Mladá Boleslav

The Jablonec team already has a certain group for salvation, even if it is still fighting for a better 12th place. They don’t do too well in the spring. In particular, from the last five games, they only got one point for a draw with Zlín.

Mladá Boleslav also already has a certain group for the title. He is currently in fifth place but could still drop to sixth. However, they would have to lose their match and Slovácko would win in Budějovice.

I can imagine that there will be a draw in this match. However, I think it is more likely that the guests will win. They have lost only once against the home team in the last eight games. They even managed to draw at Sparta, albeit with a numerical advantage.

České Budějovice – Slovácko

České Budějovice are in penultimate place and will fight for survival. However, they have not lost in their last three games, with one win and two draws. They can easily advance to fourteenth place, but they would have to win at home and Zlín lose at the same time.

Slovácko is currently in sixth place, but recently, on the contrary, it has not been doing very well. He is definitely not sure of anything, because there is a big crowd behind him. At the end of the season, coach Martin Svědík is leaving Slovácko, and it seems to me that this is partly reflected in their performances.

It’s actually hard to judge how this match will end. Slovácko should go into the match as a favorite, but except for the draw in Pilsen in the 29th round, they are not showing any results. In addition, České Budějovice can play at home. They recently beat Liberec on Strělecký ostrov, and Baník Ostrava and Sigma Olomouc in the spring. Personally, I would lean towards a draw. I will know the nervousness on both sides and I don’t think many goals will be scored.

Matches that will not affect the group standings for the title

In the broader view, there is nothing at stake in the match between Pilsen and Teplice. Viktorka has a certain third place and will want to confirm it. Teplice, on the other hand, have a certain middle group in tenth place and will fight for participation in the European Cup.

Zlín and Karvina is a battle between teams from the bottom of the table. Both will fight to stay in the Fortuna League. It just depends from which place.

Bohemians and Pardubice also have a certain group to save. Kangaroos from eleventh place, currently thirteenth Pardubice, can still drop a rung lower.
