The Olomouc Burger Fest also offers burgers for dogs. They are successful with furry ones

“Dog burgers?” asked the Yorkshire terrier breeder. “No, watch out for that! Burgers for dogs,” responded one of the sellers to the amusement of those interested in the novelty.

There weren’t a lot of curious people at the stand at that moment. They usually held a leash in their hand and at the end of it their pet, who was sniffing the prepared goodies or another four-legged visitor to the festival. “We already had. A very big success,” the young breeder pulled her husky with all her might from the fresh tasting.

It consisted of rounds of boiled sweet potato, super premium meat from the production of branded dog food and a leaf of iceberg lettuce. All this in variants with duck, beef, lamb or fish.

“We wanted to show that even dog food can be made into something different, special. The basis is shredded meat for dogs, which we decided to present in this way here at the festival in Olomouc for the first time. Why just pour it into the dog’s bowl? It takes an idea. The response is excellent,” assessed the brand’s marketing director Zuzana Karaffová.

The rush at Flora, the Galaxy of Flowers and the stalls were besieged by crowds. How do they rate her?

The Burger Street Festival near Šantovka lasts until Sunday, and visitors can enjoy juicy meat in a crispy bun from Amici Pizza & Burgers, Bad Boys Burgers&Grill, Burger Ya, DyckyBurger or Bistra Paulus.

“You can taste a wide range of different types of burgers. Try not only beef, but also, for example, elk meat. Vegetarians will also enjoy themselves, as they will find veggie burgers on the menu. There will also be a gluten-free bun to bite into,” said Galeria Šantovky marketing coordinator David Podstata.

Visitors can drink the goodies at the stands with beer, mixed drinks or homemade lemonade. There is a sweet spot in the form of waffles and macaroons.
