The maringotka is a cabin on wheels, to which horses can also be hitched

The history of maringotka dates back to the twenties of the last century, when it was part of the fleet of a circus. The current owner wanted to grow it for the needs of a year-round, and mainly a mobile home. He succumbed to the current trend of mobile chataen.

Maringotka was part of the fleet of a circus for several years.

He repaired and modified the undercarriage so that it was possible to move the Maringotka according to his wishes with the help of a piece of wood. As soon as the architects saw the maringotka on the walls and ceiling, it started pouring under their hands. And so they had no choice but to dispose of the entire upper part of the car and build a completely new maringotka.

I will make sure that even long ones can move outside without problems. The facade is now made of thermal insulation material, with which, according to Petr Portych, all the walls and roofs will be baked, so it is very durable, it also has thermal insulation and a small terrace that can be folded down, which, when raised, functions as a cover for the glass double-glazed doors.

Two portable solar panels are supposed to ensure the need for electrical energy, the excess energy is stored indoors, while the architects placed a gas bomb under the maringotka.

The kitchen is quite large and can be used for cooking. The two-burner cooker released a gas bomb placed under the maringotka.

In the interior of the mobile cottage there is a kitchen line with a refrigerator, water and a gas double stove, so the cars change that the maringotka could also serve as a food track. There is a small car for sleeping. Instead of a bunk bed or a bed, there are two boxes, in which are stored folding beds that are made into cars.

The architects didn’t want a bathroom or a toilet, which is possible, but of course it’s a financial problem.

The architects knew right from the start that they would use colors, but they really did not think that over time they would come to a combination of dark wood, light window frames, red window sills and turquoise windows.

And to summarize the architect Ondej Zdvomka? Yes, just as the Maringotka convention of the world region, so another architectural design delayed its development and journey. The result is a soft pastel architectural game that creates a new articulated, but still classic interior, dominated by a long line with evening furniture, large opening doors and a folding terrace, functioning as a security element.

The architects used folding beds in boxes that are otherwise made into cars.

He draws attention to an interesting detail: The last gadget is the folding bed hidden in a cardboard box, which, when assembled, becomes a sofa, or when unfolded, a queen-size bed with mattresses that can be thrown out on the ground and enjoy a sunny day.

The mattresses are covered in waterproof material that is protected against moisture. When the owner does not want to use them outdoors, this cover can be replaced with a standard one.

The painting on the wall is the work of Sebastian Wojnar.
