Prague 2 presents gifts to policemen, policemen and firefighters, the council decided

Prague 2 will release 350,000 crowns from its budget for motivational rewards for city police officers, and another 240,000 crowns will be distributed among the officers, policemen and firefighters for the purchase of equipment and equipment. The council approved the plan at its Monday meeting.

“We consider ensuring security and public order to be a long-term priority. Of course, close cooperation with constables, policemen and firefighters helps us. It would not have been possible without this cooperation. We meet regularly at joint security meetings and continuously evaluate the security situation at Dvojka. Thanks to this, we can respond to various extraordinary events quickly and flexibly,” said Prague 2 councilor for security Michal Zuna (TOP 09).

According to him, the town hall would like to see more constables and policemen on the streets of the district, which is why it also broadly supports them. “We realize how difficult it is for the security forces on the job market. It is difficult not only to retain quality and experienced members, but also to motivate new ones to join. We therefore continue our support. We provide security forces with service apartments every year and contribute to the purchase of better equipment and technology. We also contribute to the police officers in the form of motivational rewards, their work is essential not only on the streets, but also in ensuring the prevention programs on which we cooperate,” he added.

Individual security forces will use the City Hall’s financial contribution in their own traditional way. For example, police officers will purchase PC equipment, air purifiers and UV lamps from the contribution of the city district, and firemen will purchase a multi-functional multi-purpose T1 opener and sports equipment that will help them maintain their much-needed physical condition.

And in short, not even the city police officers will come, who, in addition to the financial means for the purchase of equipment, will also receive funds for the already mentioned incentive rewards. They will receive them at the end of the year as part of the award ceremony for the best members of the security forces, which takes place every year at the New Town Hall in Prague 2.
