Report: Another of the regular meetings of experts on the topic of new materials and technologies for construction and reconstruction took place in Prague

--

Again this year, together with selected partners of our TV Architect and TV Bydleni, we organized another interesting meeting of experts from the construction, architecture and development segment. The lecture event dealt with innovative materials and technologies for streamlining processes in the field of construction and reconstruction. So we followed up on last year’s very successful training concept, and at the same time we respond to requests for the presentation of interesting materials and technologies on a professional level with a possible direct discussion.

We regularly inform you about news and trends in the field of architecture and development. We bring together important personalities who have been active in these segments for a long time. The event, which dealt with the use of new materials and technologies for construction and reconstruction, was dedicated to these experts.

More than 50 guests attended the event in Prague’s New Living Center. He introduced himself among the speakers Jan Votápka, head of the department of cooperation with developers S-Power, who presented the current possibilities of photovoltaics for companies, commercial buildings and development projects. He also outlined the future and mandatory photovoltaics for state and public buildings from 2026. Dominik Basla member of the Prefab Factory board, described the role of prefabricated modules, which are the future of modern construction and part of development projects. Pavel Basl, a member of the board of directors of ProCeram and New Living Center, talked about the production of atypical custom-made products from ceramic tiles or artificial stone and showed the latest trends, including a hidden induction plate. He also presented his lecture Martin Habina, chief architect and managing director of the Atelier Habina office, who approached the restoration of the Morava Palace, a functionalist gem in Brno. The studio deals with the rehabilitation of the original large-format glazed areas and other parts of the facade, and then finding the optimal intersection of restoring the internal functional structure and interiors with today’s requirements.

The event provided a platform to discuss the latest trends, innovations and sustainable practices in building materials. Training it also brought inspiration and knowledge for construction professionals. It also highlighted the importance of innovation and sustainability for the future of the industry.

Thank you to all partners and guests and we look forward to seeing you again next year at another opportunity to train on new topics!

The term prefabrication covers a whole range of systems and processes, usually based on modern technologies. This is mass pre-production that takes place in a factory on a production line. Building parts are created here, from which the resulting building is then assembled at the construction site. There are several advantages – fast construction, economically advantageous solution, work efficiency and also sustainability.
